Senior Aircraft Engineer – Aircraft & UAV Development

We are seeking a Senior Aircraft Engineer to join an experienced, dynamic engineering team developing new fixed-wing aircraft and advanced UAV platforms. This role is suited for a technically strong, detail-oriented engineer who takes full ownership of their work and is driven to bring complex aerospace projects to completion.

You will work alongside senior experts across structures, aerodynamics, systems, and certification, contributing directly to concept development, detailed design, testing, and certification activities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the design and development of aircraft and UAV structures and systems
Prepare and review engineering documentation, including design reports, drawings, and compliance documents
Participate in concept studies, trade-offs, and design reviews
Support prototype manufacturing, ground tests, and flight test activities
Ensure technical accuracy, traceability, and compliance with applicable regulations and standards
Actively collaborate with a multidisciplinary, international expert team
Take responsibility for assigned work packages and drive them to completion
Identify risks, propose solutions, and maintain a strong focus on detail and quality

Jaké znalosti a dovednosti byste měli mít

Required Qualifications

MSc in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
8+ years of experience in aircraft and/or UAV development
Strong background in at least one of the following: Aircraft structures (metallic and/or composite) / Airframe design and integration / UAV design and development
Proven experience working on real flying hardware, not only theoretical studies
Ability to read, create, and review engineering drawings and technical documentation
High level of technical responsibility and self-discipline
Strong focus on details, accuracy, and finishing tasks
Fluent English (written and spoken)

Nice to Have

Experience with CS-23 / Part 23, UAV certification, or military standards
Hands-on experience with prototypes, manufacturing, or flight testing
Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, CATIA) and basic FEM
Previous work in start-up or fast-paced development environments
