Artificial intelligence is also intervening in the fighting in Ukraine. The Czech company LPP Holding has already supplied the Czech army with hundreds of drones that use it and move completely independently in the conflict. The drones can travel up to two hundred kilometres per hour and travel up to a thousand kilometres. The machines have a wingspan of up to 3.5 metres.
“Unlike conventional drones, which need a data link or radio connection for their mission, our drones fly completely autonomously and do not need a GPS signal. So imagine a situation where there is heavy jamming in some zones – in that case, other drones go to ground. Ours flies on,” says Martina Tauberová, Director of External Relations.
